It has been a looooong time since I played FL, I used to play / admin JOLT server and decided to break out FL on a whim powered by the disappointment of Starfield.

Yep, im heartbroken but its true. Stage6 the high res online video site is closing. Apparently the time and resources needed to keep the site running have proved too great a strain on the DivX company, and they have already closed the ability to upload stuff.

I hope that someone else starts something like this up, because i have spent a lot of time over the last few weeks watching stuff on this site, and will be sad to see it go.

I also cant help but wonder how much of this is down to the fact that Stage6 has recently been used to upload high res copies of popular films and tv series.

Yeah, you can just delete the locked gates from initialworld.ini

This will result in the gates being unlocked.

You do however, need to do this when there are no accounts on the server. (or delete any accounts there atm and get everyone to start again)

Due to member demand, we have made a chat room on Quakenet IRC network.

We will be looking at enabling an IRC portal function over the next few days, but until then you can join us by pointing your IRC client towards any Quakenet server and joining #star-port.

For those wishing to use their own client then try http://www.mirc.com/get.html .

The mIRC client is well supported and widely used, as well as being easy to get to grips with.

Simply select any of the servers in the Quakenet group once connected type “/join #the-starport” (without the quotes.)

TLR is now back up. Hopefully it will stay up this time

Sorry mate, im not 100% sure myself but i think thats correct. Npcs will usually drop whatever you equip them with in the load out as well.

Hopefully someone else can confirm this

Can only hope not, I hate to see any website be attacked this way Especially one that is such a widely recognised resource.

I will keep my fingers crossed for him Some of the stuff i saw ages ago looked pretty good so i hope he gets a more fleshed out version of it out there soon-ish
