You can’t make the Server police bases friendly to you on the Freeworlds server. If you load your own server, you need to change the reputation of the base to something you’re friendly with. So, for example, you’d make the server police base reputation li_p_grp if you want it for New Republic friendly.

If you’re talking about doing this on someone elses server (ie. with you as the client), you won’t find any further help here; that’s cheating, simple as. As far as I know, that is most definately server-sided. Meaning it doesn’t matter what you change on the client, that base will always appear hostile/neutral/friendly, however you are currently set to it. There are ‘ways’ of gaining access to restricted bases, but it’s not hard to spot, and will most likely result in an auto kick/ban anyway.

i finally made myself friendly with the server police base, i have no trouble getting in the base. but when i buy the ships and undock i cannot see the ships, is this normal?
Maybe there is a reason why the Police faction was red.

Isn’t this a Police faction for the server admins?
What would could mean that the ships you buy there have a cloaking device. -
Aye. SP ships have a cloaking device.

Search for Hpcloak01 in the goods.ini in /data/equipment
Just remove that from the ships you don’t want to have a cloaking device.Remember that you will have to buy that ship again. The previous entries are now stored in your player file, so you have to over write them.

Basically you need either FLAC or FlHook running on your server, as it sounds like Sushi is using thier cloaking abilities for the server police/admin, as without it your invisible.
As you obviously haven’t a clue what to do, you either need to get FLAC (have to buy it), or FlHook (free), or talk very very nicely to Sushi to see if he’ll fix it for you :P.

Flhook works for everyone, provided you are at v1.1 with the important game files. The documentation is quite sufficient to get it up and running. Check your .ini entries for the flhook includes.
