Nobody says the GOG team is strictly going after the ranking of the wishlist, which FlyByU’s quote supports.

You can pick up freelancer for a fiver (thats UK £), with free delivery. And that’s not necessarily for a used one either. I don’t see what the huge fuss is about. It’s not as if the game is hard to get hold of, or out of anyones reach in terms of money.

In Australia its “almost” a crime to obtain a copy of Freelancer… ::) “Free… wha?? …go home freak!!”

Maybe if more sites like this pop up offering the game at a easy to get / low price ect…
things will change for the better…

Well - It is not only, but also about getting the game easy (note that you can order it from GOG from all over the world), but also for the publicity. We all know that there are just a few space sims out there, I browsed the catalogue, and I saw Descent I, II & III! Games I never heard about, with a 5/5 rating. So I might inform myself about those games because they woke up my interest - And others might do the same with Freelancer.
