Sirius Diversified, Inc originated on the Topfreelancers server in early 2005, and has recently expanded to the Shattered Worlds server.
It is traditionally a non-combat clan, which is unusual in the Freelancer environment, although it does have a security sub-group. SDI was intended to be a “role playing” clan in the sense where it could play any role needed on a particular server.

*****Clan Operating Area - Varies*****Clan Mission Statement - SDI is a corporation which offers a diverse list of services ranging from cargo transport, security services, financial consulting, exploration, R&D, legal services, human resources, search and rescue, and more. The company motto is “Anywhere, anyone, anytime.”
*****Clan History - Initally a group of independent freelancers, the founding members of SDI pooled their various skills and talents together and formed a company which would become a business model for other clans, as well as a standard for other trading companies to follow. The acronym SDI is synonymous with fast, efficient, and reliable service.
With its main office located centrally in Freeport 4, SDI caters to practically every clan, and has the capacity to deliver to practically every corner of the Sirius Sector. They have the capability to run both large convoys as well as quick unescorted trade runs through hostile territory. It also participates in the Sirius Humanitarian Relief Fund by delivering donated goods to various borderworld and underdeveloped planets and colonies.
In addition to shipping, SDI also offers a variety of other different services, such as consulting, training, and security services, and is constantly expanding the types of services it offers.
