NPC Formations in Missions

Does anyone know where or how I can modify formations for NPCs that are spawned in missions? This does not apply to normal encounter spawn formations.

Have a look in SolarFormations.ini in the random missions folder. This at least will show you what formations they use against solars which can be changed. Only other obvious place is in Formations.ini

Wish i did have somthing for ye… but i’ve played and trawlled all i can and still end up with
randoms in missions m8…

And knowing why you need the “custom” param… yeah thats gonna look a little weird…
even vignetteparams.ini holds no joy… or at least that i can see…

Seen someone else hit the wall on this one before… I have a bad feeling they kinda left it there too…
or at least if they ever did find the answer never posted it (i “think” it was on TSP… way back in the first posts)

So ideas… yes, there just might be a workaround?.. Im shure we aint the only 2 thats ever tried this b4…

I believe they use whatever formation is defined in faction_prop.ini for fighters…
