The Freelancer Sirius Server

As some of you know, I own a FL Fan site called Freelancer Sirius, my co-owner and me are converting FLS into a server and a mod! We’ll need help to make the mod, as most mods arn’t made by two people. You can contact me via our website (Here) or contact me at [email protected]. Keep a eye out on our server on the website under the blog or our news forum. I hope you enjoy our server when it’s out and ready. Our current plan is to get the server running, then mod it. It’ll be running as a Vanilla or modding server until the mod is ready. Enjoy!

Ok, this is our first official Server Advertisement, it includes our goals and more about the Modding Team:
The Freelancer Sirius Server:
Freelancer Sirius: The Server is the new thing for Freelancer Sirius, (as you know, FLS was a community, not a server), our current goal is:

1. Create at least over 100 custom made systems.

2. Edit and make better Existing Systems.

3. New and exciting equipment.

4. New and exotic commodities.
-
5. New and potentially dangerous factions (some will be more dangerous than Outcasts in Malta).

6. Big Clan Systems (won’t count in the 100 custom made systems).

7. New Bases (bases as in new base structures).
-
8. New and cool custom ships.

9. And a amazing background story (which will be decided later).

Now, I hope you don’t mind, but I’m also going to use the topic to advertise things going on with the server, I’ll give you a example as to what I mean (and this is a real thing too):
The Story Poll:
We are currently looking for the background story for the mod, you can post a background story here: The Story Poll TopicAs soon as we have at least 5 or more stories, we’ll post a poll on our forum telling ppl to pick there favorite story, which we’ll use in the mod, the story will help out in the other parts of the modding.

Hello Starport, i wish to keep you informed about Freelancer Sirius’s news. Currently, we have started the Modding stage (cause I got FL installed now). Expect these things from the first version of the mod (a beta). 10 systems, at least 1 custom ship, and 2 characters in the “Character Chooser System”
I will keep you informed on the newest developments in the future.

Talc, here, or Shadow Viper, either one will do, because I’m still the same awesome person over here :D. Anyway, the site has run into issues, regarding low amounts of money to pay for it to stay online. So we resorted to a free forum for the time being. I have also greatly altered the way the modding project is. It’s now a open project, everyone can see and post into the modding area. Most of our original modding team is there, but some have yet to come atm. If you want to join in, come join us at: Freelancer Sirius
Currently me and Preacher Trade are controlling the mod, and like I said, anyone who wants to join is allowed to, I’m not forcing you to go there, lol. I just want people to have fun making a mod together.
