/v/lancer: A mod for bros by bros
-
Hehe, do not forget to submit news to T SP and to other sites once you are done. I have helped several communities and I can tell you that PR (Public Relations)/advertising is the key to the success. What are your great features and mod worth if nobody knows about?
-
Well, we do have 4chan, and around 200 active people in our steam group.
-
There appears to be mod theft involved here. I am asking Pastaspace to contact Forsaken and myself as quickly as possible.
The Starport does not condone mod theft and if all stolen work is not allowed within short notice by the original authors, it must be removed or the mod will not be covered by this site.
We’ve had too much infringement like this in the past; we can’t let people take work that isn’t theirs without asking the original author. I’m not saying that it was intentional, but it must be resolved.

So a site that’s not even in Alexa’s top 1mil isn’t going to advertise /v/Lancer? ONOES, WE ARE DOOMED TO FAILURES AND SHAME. Would you mind sharing how exactly that’s any kind of threat? Because really, I’d be glad to hear it. 4chan is the largest english imageboard around. We’d get more postings in a single thread just advertising on /v/. Our ARCHIVE gets more traffic than this site for god’s sake. Also, the last two videos aren’t using /v/Lancer, they’re using Discovery. Finally, why would we steal from Crossfire? We would only steal from mods that are actually GOOD.
-
God, please don’t remind me of Crossfire’s purple effects…
-
Reading comprehension really isnt your strong point, is it? You cited the first video when asking for a download. After that, you cited the 2nd and 3rd asking why we were advertising other mods as our work. Any thought about the comment posted with them would lead you to thew conclusion that they are not of the mod.
-
This is a rather pathetic reaction… I honestly had expected better, especially after Pastaspace’s disclaimer. You’re exactly like them, from what I can gather.
Ironic, isn’t it?
-
I’d like to give you a good advice. Remove every Crossfire content from your mod now, because if I see your mod somewhere containing stuff from my mod then you will end up with the worst trouble you can imagine. And I definitly dont care about how much traffic you have or how big 4chan is.
So take this advice, remove the Crossfire content, do the same if the other modders request it and we will be fine. (and for gods sake stop talking about other peoples work in such a respectles way)

@ FriendlyFire
Actually, considering what /b/ (The other 4channers) are like, this is actually very civil for 4chan, normally we’d be bombared, DDOSed, and have the forums filled with various shock images.
@ OPR8R
You… might not actually want to do that, challenging 4chan is never a good idea, /b/ is kind of scary when it comes to retaliation…
