I still think that I’ve got lots to learn on proper UV-mapping of a model.

On a side note, I just saw Avatar and oh my god during the movie I was shaking and dieing to open the laptop and start creating a few models from the movie …. while the movie was playing :)))

Alright m8 I’ll do it, probably today, after that I’ll gather some refference material for a Destiny model. I’ll try my hand at it and if it works , cool, if not , I’ll put on hold all other projects and return to what I love doing …. space stations. I’ve got a few nice ideas for those but I’ve been busy lately working on projects for the community.

I also rearranged the UVs on the model so the texture would look more detailed when doing a flyby of the ship ingame.

Spent a few hours gathering a bunch of images from Stargate Universe and placing them in categories. I made 4 archives representing all the new ships featuring in the show:

• Destiny
• Destiny Shuttle
• Unknown Alien Shuttle
• Unknown Crashed Alien Ship

You can all use this refference material for your projects and I hope it proves helpful:

I will start soon to work on one of these ships as I promised “Joppinator” a wile ago that I’d at least try to do some of these ships for him. If I’m successful or not … time will tell, but right now I’m gonna rest for a while cause I haven’t had a day off for 2 weeks. So, Good Night !
