Where do I find that segment of code?
EDIT: Oh nevermend, I was trolling through my Freelancer folder, Itās under Freelancer/DATA/MISSIONS/ENCOUNTERS, a .ini file for each group. Just thought Iād mention that for anyone having the same trouble.

In the zone deceleration of the tradelane/zone itself

thatāll helpā¦ mixed with a larger # in the encounter .iniās as wellā¦
alsoā¦ i thinkā¦ density is the āoverallā NPC group capā¦ how many wings at once (could be wrongā¦) in the zonemax_battle_size is the key to getting wings of 12 ectā¦ mixed with more codelines in your formations so they know were to spawn atā¦ if a formation only has 4 linesā¦ only 4 ships will spawn even though the max is higher in the zoneā¦ encounter files also need to be altered to reflectā¦
pretty simple once youāve done it 1nce & succeededā¦
that particular setting will only spawn max 8 in a group but up to 12 groupsā¦ at level 1ā¦ repopulated at 10 second intervals

Iāve done this, I find a good balance is usually to have the density for tradelanes and jumpgates/holes to be around 20, with the max battle size being 10, and around planets and bases 32 for density, and 16 for max battle size.
The feeling is absolutely awesome.
