Hello ppl ! Iam Creating A mod Called Nomads War V1.58
i need to Tutorial to How to creat a server
and How i Can Make Dyson sphere city dockble in the mod?Thank You All!!

1. Creating a server is relatively easy, just go to Program Files/Microsoft Games/Freelancer/EXE/FLServer.exe and run it. (When you complete your mod, remember to change the version number on both Freelancer.exe and FLServer.exe so that you can connect).
2. Well, for the inside, you just need to set the starsphere values already present in the game. As for the entrance, beats me :s

You have a nice start-up, but your idea is the start of every new modder. My first mod ever was “War on Nomads 2: The nomad sector”. I didn’t publish it because I didn’t have the skills so I made it fully with Freelancer Explorer and other tools. Then I learned somke more about Freelancer general coding and became an expert, so now I work on the mod “Knowledge of Sirius”: a big mod of all-including-all.
So if you want to be original, go with another idea, and learn some new skills from tutorials insted of just asking for help.
Listen to my advice.TheDvDMan

In steps the LAN fanatic (lol)…
Hmmm… I need to know a bit more to fully help here… are u on 1 PC… or a network m8? either way your IP should be static unless your taking it live across the net … then its an ISP problem (like here in AUS we have to pay huge $$ for a static IP… mainly reserved for businesses… with lots of $$ lol) If your networked your IP’s should be set… hmm or your network wont work (obviously)
If by chance your referring to the $%^&)&$&%%-777889875-%^&&^% gibberish IP6 spews as as IP… then its as simple as disabling IP6 (fully… vista & W7 have a dedicated program for such a thing as unchecking the box isnt enough) google “disabling IP6 in vista”… and follow the official links (microsoft)
also… there’s a DX port forwarding trick as well… to make the server pick the same port each time… simply amend your server shortcut with /P2303 with the number being your open forwarding port for Freelancer… like so…
“C:\XLR\Freelancer\EXE\flserver.exe /P2303”
it wont always be 2303… that the one i use 8-)Hope any of this helps
