Problem with nomad cloaking devices

Hi in cl from the wireplay uk freelancer server and after a recent server change/reinstall the cloaks have developed an annoying problem.
server is vanilla with a lelo npc revenge mod running
The cloaks are only used by our admins not players
the problem is
When the cloaks are on the ships they cloak the ship perfectly to other players but not to npc,s
but more seriously when fired(its allso a gun)it crashes any players within scanning range(even docked players)back to desktop.
As you can imagine its a bit annoyingAnyone with any fixes for this problem please post it because i know we had this problem before and there was a really easy fix for it but im afraid i cant remember what it was.

Well firstly, npc’s can see you even under cloak, as far as I know you cant change that. As for the CTD, as youre running modded vanilla you have added something that the clients do not have. Soon as the client software finds something it cant process it “runs home to mamma”. Talking off the top of my head, as your order ship cloak seemed to work youve probably got a typo in the code for the gunboat cloak, usually the cause.
No one can really say untill they see your code, I could have a look at it if you want to PM me.

untill a recent server change / reinstall the cloak guns worked fine / npcs couldnt see the admins and players didnt crash .
unfortunatly i wasnt around for the reinstall of fl which was done by one of our other admins so i dunno what was done.I know there is a sequence in which the admin/lelos mods are installed on the clientside that effect the way it works(one overwrites the other ect) and actually causes the problem that i described but i have tested all these and it seems its ok.
Allso for what i remember the admin mod does not need to be installed serverside because an earlier admin had written the nessacary parts into the lelo mod and this was installed on the server as well.
