Cutting FL to total 0
-
Freelancer Explorer - use the “Delete all systems” feature. This will blank up the Universe and mBases file.
About the others, just erase them manually, unless theres some tool I didn’t hear of… -
or you can use the starter pack by [RIP]Dwnundr

You’re much better off doing what Mirkha said. FLE’s a little crude at it.

One solution - REINSTALL!

How is reinstalling the game related to your reply?
-
there is no problem having an empty freelancer. the only thing are the reference. make the game not refer to anything you have deleted and you are ready to start. you can eg comment out all of the files from the .\exe\freelancer.ini but don’t expect you can play the game. therefore you can build the contents up from scratch.
-
At the server take fp7 sys withut holes, also you may cut client to 0 only with fp7 sys if you want
-
The fp7 system is also needed for new sp game creation.
-
no. there is nothing needed for anything. all things we know about that are needed are only needed as long as other files in a row from the core configuration freelancer.ini are refering to them. all contents can be built up from scratch. the question is, is it worth it? that would be just massive work, would take time and power in an amount it prolly was not invested into any FL mod so far.
oh, and if someone is crazy enough to start that suicide project, noone guarantees success or appreciation by the player community or even a completion of the project before the player community extincts entirely. -
Simple answer to is it worth it is yes. Many mods have been total conversion, i made one a few years back. Nightstalkers Universe mod is a total conversion. I’m in the process of doing one now. Why? because you have a clean code base with no original FL error laden code present. Trust me when i say it’s a godsend error checking because i know what i’ve put in, where it’s gone and why. No tripping over other peoples screw ups.
Time consuming, yes, takes ages, yes. Do i care what the community thinks? No. Only because i firstly write mods for myself, as long as i’m happy with it then it gets released. If other people like it, it’s a bonus.

you have to delete the reference to. anything that is asking for those entries. market files, pathfinding files, everything.

-
universe.ini, mission files, bribes, all that stuff that somehow has a base or system parameter.
-
Account files. You need to remove the references from them. Or just purge them.
-
mbases.ini, news.ini, newplayer.fl, …
-
Use an editor like Notepad++, with it you can search in all files for the nicknames!

Btw i already solved my trouble. I downloaded RIP’s pack and cutted all ships, factions and equipment from it, and all became ok.
