Just use milkshape. What size do you want them to be I can have them up in two minutesYears ago I took my first steps in Milskhape. I did make some things, mainly parts that I took off existing bases (so I now have more satellites than just space_habitat_wide and space_habitat_small) and even some freighters that probably got lost.
But then my Milkshape stopped working (it was a version that ‘fell off a truck’ ) and the version that could be bought from the programmer’s website, was not compatible with the plugin (it was too new and the older version couldn’t be downloaded)
What version of Milkshape does work with the importer and exporter, and where can I find these importers? Maybe I can get it to work again after all…
O btw, what I wanted was larger version of ast_mineable_largeA and ast_mineable_largeB. About 2.5 to 5 times as big. Thans for the offer!!

I’m using the latest MilkShape 1.8.5 beta.
It is working fine in XP with all these plugins -
CMP Importer v3 and the new ones from adoxa and P1p3r
CMP Exporter v3
SUR Importer v1.2.0
SUR Exporter v1.1 (don’t use 1.2, it’s more buggy).
MAT Exporter V1
3DB Exporter (no version mentioned)and also ConVex Tool and ConVexTool1 which are used to make convex sur parts manually.
No crashes.

Thanks for the info
Btw is there an easy download address for all the plugins?
I guess I can download the proggy itself at the SwissCheese site? If you know a more convenient way to obtain it, plz pm me about it

Btw Sushi you didn’t include the .sur files but I could make these with the Sur Resizer using the original .sur files, and they work perfect.
The cool thing is: even within the “fogless nebula” (term coined by Xalrok although I created mine independently and unknowingly from his) in my Dakota System, they have a visibilty limit of more than 19 K. Fairly short but better than the 3.2K that I previously observed, and adequate enough for my purpose.
So now I can lump 4 of these large asteroids together and call it Mount Rushmore

Ya, just use the FL Model tool for the asteroids surs

See this thread on EOA to get the tool:-
http://forums.seriouszone.com/showthread.php?58762And just use the original tutorial:-

It’s long-winded, but there are others out there too.
