Basic Help - CRC Tool

Hi again

1. Am I right in thinking that I could use CRCTool to track down errors such as ERROR: 0xaa6831ce: Unable to find [Loadout] 0x8cec2501.?

2. If yes, how exactly, every one I try I get a not found message. Have created DB and saved and made sure DB file path is correct. I then “check” the Hex CRC, paste in from the error (e.g. 0xaa6831ce) and get nothing but “Not found”.

3. Is the answer in the INI search strings?

When I plug that in I get this:

Hi02_living

0x8cec2501 =

unit_10
(E:\Freelancer\Data\SOLAR\SolarArch.ini)

I 'think" this is still the same database from when I was helping you with errors. If you aren’t getting that, maybe it has been deleted from your mod or you are running pure vanilla without your mod activated?

I also get that when I stopped using CRC Beta1 and uploaded the Beta 2 from the downloads section
