Kuze's Freelancer Ship pack 1
-
Hi all. So I put together this small ship pack with 9 of my ships. Feel free to download it and use it
Ships included:
Conqueror VHF
Coyote VHF
Greyhound VHF
Serpent VHF
Ryujin VHF
Scimitar HF
Shilone HF
Merchantman FreighterPack info:
-All models are in .cmp format.
-All the textures in .mat.
-SURs and icons included.
-No hardpoints.
-The models are without custom cockpits.
-The Scimitar and Merchantman have no cockpit modelled, the glass needs to be non-transparent, otherwise it will look odd.
-You can modify the textures, reposition or add/remove the weapon mounts, rename the ships and modify the Scimitar and Merchantman to have cockpit, but please make no other modifications.
-Notify me if you use them and also credit me in mod readme please.MODDB download link:
I also uploaded the pack to TSPs Download section, but it looks like it will take a little time till it will be approved.

Nice work.

Almost vanilla textures - nice!

Thank you guys. Unfortunatelly some of my other ships are not in this pack but I want to make a new one ASAP with them. This ones:
Apophis VHF
Macune Freighter
Combat Attack Vehicle
Sovereign Freighter
Westerhand Transport
Trident Corvette and bridgeBut 1st they need to be retextured and some remodelled.
BTW the Ryujin looks too much like the original Dragon, I can barely see the difference.
Well the Ryujin have bigger engines plus two more. It is a heavier version of the Dragon.
Say, do you do models by an order?
Well at the moment, no, and it looks like this years i will not make too many new ships too. Maybe when the new year starts.

You have created some nice models there, although some do not look that Freelancer-fitting. Are they multipart?
-
Would you mind if I used them in my game? I do like the look of those ships.
-
You are aware that some use original Freelancer textures? I don’t want you to get problems with MS…
-
Retexturing isnt a problem…

Super work Kuze.
What modelling program are you using, and are you using its built-in texturing or another UV mapper?

I am using Cinema 4D and I am using the prog’s bulid in UV editor, but the textures were make in Photoshop. I like the C4D’s texturing capabilities, at first it looked messy, but i used to it.
Dude, you do your own camo? How hard is it to make the camoflage seamless within the UV map?
Actually that camo texturing was made by Hash in Milk. At that time I was a noob in texturing and lazy Ask Hash for forther info. Since I have no knowledge in textturing in Milk I can not help you in this.
