Since I am a medical physician in Canada and admin here, I could be potentially held accountable for not telling the authorities of someone harming themselves, even over the internet. That being said, I told Sizer, who’s a developer at FW:ToW, to contact the authorities to prevent this possible action from taking place. I am relieved to report that they were able to contact the Israeli embassy and they have passed along the message.
The threat of suicide is no laughing matter and is not to be taken lightly, even on the internet.
In Canada, we use a medical restraining order, if you will, to bring patients who are a danger to themselves, or threatening danger, for a psychiatric assessment. I hope they have something similar in Israel so you can get the help you need.

Sorry Centurion, but I’ve seen this in the past, I know the drill.
People will say this as a way to get others to stop harassing them, often because they’ve behaved wrongly and what to hide under the premise of “don’t do this or I kill myself!”
There are many things we can let go through, but honestly you’re nearly certain to find somebody here who knows someone who committed suicide. It’s not a joking matter, it’s not something you say. That’s it. Even if the threat is rather weak, our stance will be the same. Feel free to insult us, to quit, to hack us even, but that doesn’t pass.

I agree here 100%. I take suicide threats very seriously. One of my best friends just committed suicide last year, and I will not be party to the creation of such pain it brings upon others.
This is no joke.

PB, I’m not lying at all. Sizer did make the call to the US Israeli embassy. I hope they do, do something about the matter. This is not an intent to scare, this is to hopefully get you the help you need to get over whatever problem you’re coping with currently to make such a threat to harm yourself.

It’s more probable that I’ll shoot myself if that chubby in our government, known as Berlusconi, won’t get the hell out from the damned government palace.
And for you PolarBear, stop seeking attention from a Forum, that’s just plain stupid and lame. Get out from your little room and play at ball with your friends. Closing your life on a computer is… wrong.

Centurion, guess what is the #3 cause of death for teenagers? Suicide. It’s a serious matter and while you might not think it is an important issue, coming from a medical background, I take it seriously.

Come on, I’m here, living, writing….Past suicidal threats are a warning sign for increased risk for suicide. Male adolescents have the highest succeeded suicide ratio when compared to other cohorts. This could be a sentinel event that needs to be addressed. If you were in Canada, I would be legally obligated to report this to the authorities. I’m being completely honest and why, as an Admin team, we took the matter seriously and we contacted the Israeli embassy.
While you may have exhibit poor behavior, there’s no reason why wish ill harm to you. Based on what you’ve said in several posts, your frequent emotional outbursts and your threat of suicide I suspect you need a physician, possibly a psychiatrist, to help you through this process.
