Kuze's Freelancer Ship pack 1
-
there has been a lower player base lately. but just before Xmas hit it was jumping up and down. when we do CMs theres like 30 players on. which is freaking nuty.
But for the most part ya. were all working on sloving it. one thing is the old ad videos saying 1.3 and now were 1.5 so its all out of date. " not ranting at the staff " but once thats all worked out and huge mass ads are ran i think it will help draw us in.
Right now i have no clue what the numbers are. im out of state with family on my laptop. lol

Oh dear… ye know i had to read that a few times myself to even get the joke… yeah yeah… pick on the dyslexic modder… hehehe…
nice catch ST… seems spell-check is useless if i plain get the word wrong 8-)
and @ mike… well… the repacking/redownloading of a mod that imo wasn’t all that broken… not to mention the loss of all my hard earned weps loot… all cuz they wanted to go to FLMM format (which i hate) left a awful taste in this players mouth to be honest… i probably wont be back as every time i finally end up getting some decent ship/setup they change the version again… and i myself am kinda sick of grinding to get back to whence i was. I dare say alot of other players (who’s clients were fine…) felt the same way
That’s nothing against the mod, In fact the mod i love… the decisions… not so…
Back on topic… I look forward to part 2 Kuze

Sovereign Freighter
This ship really looks good in game. I had it on the Void 2115v9 and it was a great ship to have. Wasn’t best for fighting their larger ships but, it would stand up and fight. Made a great trade ship for starters on the server once you were able to buy it and I was within my first 2-3 hours.
I thought it was cool to have the Sun Decks on it. hehehe
All those ships look good in game. I think that if you’re looking for a new line of ships for more or less adding to Vanilla type mods these are worth it for looks. Of 'course, if you want them to preform differently, that’s up to how you set them up. They handled real good on the Void Server.

Kuze, those ships are really nice. We’ll be using some of them in the Broken Bonds mod. You’ll get full credit, of course. We’re short on modelers, so things like this to reduce the workload on our small modeling staff are a life saver.
We’ve started with your Greyhound. With a slight retexturing, it’s found a spot as the Tasmanian Mercenaries, Inc. “Tiger” Heavy Fighter. Here’s a pic of what we did with it.
-
The cockpit has transparency, it’s just the lighting making it look less transparent than it is.
As for hitboxes, the package I downloaded is the one linked in the first post, and it has a hitbox. Not a perfect one at all, but that’s no issue as our hitboxer will do a new one anyway, no matter how good the original is. He’s just like that.
-
That’s quite inspiring Cap.M … might try my hand latter at the greyhound and a few other’s myself, the original textures are cool enough but now i have some cool ideas.
BTW kuze… pack 1 & 2 are awesome, thanks for letting us play with them 8-)

Here’s another of your ships that we’re using. The Serpent has gotten in as the TMI ‘Devil’ Light Fighter to go with the heavy fighter. I shrunk it a little, and had to split the wings and tail into their own group to make the textures work the way I wanted, but here it is.
Yeah, it’s not in game yet, as I’m having problems with that. Instead, that’s a screenshot straight out of MS3D with the brightness kicked up a bit to bring out a little detail. I’ll get you an in game screenshot as soon as I can, where I promise it’ll look a lot better.
-
Interesting. I like how it turned out. But isn’t it too massive for a LF? Or the fighters in Broken Bonds will be all huge? If yes, then it is so cool I like the huge fightes, I think the vanilla ones are just a little bit small and the freighters very tiny.
-
I actually nudged the scale down to 85% of it’s original size. That makes it a good LF counterpart to the Greyhound. I’m hoping the pilot will still fit in the cockpit properly, but until it’s working in game I won’t be able to tell.

Well, we got the Serpent working. The scaling was perfect at 85% of it’s original size, so it’s a great LF counterpart to the greyhound. Allow me to present the Tasmanian Mercenaries, Inc. “Devil” Light Fighter.
