Hack Request: Muzzle flash ALEs playing at high refire?

Currently, it seems that if you fire a weapon repeatedly, but the previous firing’s muzzle flash isn’t finished playing yet, it just cuts off the first flash and starts on the next one. This means that muzzle flashes don’t stack. Is it possible that there’d be a hack allowing the muzzle flashes to stack?

At a high enough refire rate, weapons don’t display the ALE of a muzzle flash when a shot is fired. The result is, the only iteration of the muzzle flash that displays in its entirety is the last shot fired. This means that your muzzle flash (or in our case, your beam) is invisible until you stop firing your weapon. Which is pointless.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
