Freelancer with death penalty?

Hi, are there any freelancer mods, servers or other similar space sim games (not eve) that have a harsh death penalty?

Im not sure if Ioncross is still running but I think they had the harshest death penalty.

ive looked at all the games since freelancer and cant find any that resemble ioncross…

Ioncross is up and running version 1.0
You basically have to re-learn how to play freelancer in this mod.
There’s a hand full of ppl playing atm, Would love to see some more fresh blood.
I for one like the risks it brings, instead of the horde of nomad using eagles some servers have.
