FL Multiplayer ID Generator - Linux? HELP PLEASE!
-
Which one you have tried? Under wine or crossover?
-
I’ll go into a little more detail.
In linux, I made Wine capable of running Freelancer.
I tried the game quickly after installing it only to find that the automatic ID Gen dodn’t do its thing.So, I downloaded an ID Gen that wine could run and got a .fmpa file to save somewhere, but I don’t know where to put the file.
I also tried typing the given code in the box, no success.
Freelancer MP ID Generator 1.1.0
Linux Mint (12)
Wine 1.5.5 -
I know *.fmpa files from shizzolancer - it is storing the ID’s for a single account in the format.
InstallKey=12345678-12345678-89abcdef-12345678-1234
MPAccountName=12345678-12345678-12345678-12345678
MPAccountNameSig=12345678-12345678-12345678-12345678
AccountName=The Name shown in ShizzolancerIt’s a Tool to switch between exsisting ID’s. With it you can’t create new ID’s but you can create new MP ID’s with
tool from Cannon.

Thank you so much!
…but where do I put the .fmpa file once it is made?
that was the trouble. Could you search for a .fmpa on your side and give me the directory path?I have tried many downloads for various reasons, and none of them run under Wine. Only the Freelancer MP ID Generator 1.1.0 and the GLS Workaround will run under Wine.
ID Changer won’t run either. -
a post here at TSP containing the tool

Just put the *.fmpa into the shizzolancer directory, run shizzolancer and you can choose the account.
For not creating a misunderstanding: shizzolancer is a german windows tool - you can also extract the ID and put it in every other account switching tool by open the *.fmpa file with a text editor using the above format. If you have a tool which is running with tiny Tux you may migrate it easily.
The MP ID is stored in the Registry of Windows - if wine supports registry functions you may also overwrite it by a script or directly.
