Problems with indicators

Guys, nedd your help, please. I have a problem of this type:
I did not see the indicators of health and shield enemies. Instead, I see a bar with black crossed rectangle
The same situation everywhere (in original game or Discovery mod, whatever)

Win 7 86x, ATI Radeon HD 5570 1Gb (Freelancer does not detect my video card)

Win 7 should be able to run freelancer with no problems, did you try moving/copying the install to a drive other than your system drive ?

Try running the game as administrator. Most MS game don’t play nice with newer versions of Windows. It’s not that they can’t be backward compatible, MS wants you to play X-Box.

Anyhow, it works fine on my Vista and Vista-7 laptops. Just open the icon properties and select the compatibility tab, you’ll see it.

I also like to hot-key it to use Ctrl-Alt and a letter or number to open the game.
