Decompiling THN files
-
Having issues trying to decompile THN files. The tool i’ve been using for years, dear old FLED Thorn doesn’t work for me under W10. Keeps telling me it’s missing loads of files to run, namely ocx files.
I know Adoxa has something but i can’t make head or tail of the readme file regarding useage. If someone knows a way to decompile THN files, or can explain Adoxas readme to me, I’d appreciate it

Download comdlg32, extract it and run [c]register[/c] - allow access and then it should tell you it was registered - now FLED Thorn should work.
Mine’s command line, so you need to use it through Command Prompt (tip: type the first couple of characters of file and directory names, then [c]TAB[/c] to cycle through the complete names):
C:\Games\Freelancer\EXE>copy \contrib\games\Freelancer\thorn\dethorn.exe 1 file(s) copied. C:\Games\Freelancer\EXE>cd ..\DATA\SCRIPTS\STORY C:\Games\Freelancer\DATA\SCRIPTS\STORY>\Games\Freelancer\EXE\dethorn.exe li_01_equipment_ambi_s005_ship_01.thn C:\Games\Freelancer\DATA\SCRIPTS\STORY>head li_01_equipment_ambi_s005_ship_01.lua duration = 600.000; entities = { { entity_name = "Layer_li_01_Equip_ambient_int", type = SCENE, template_name = "", lt_grp = 0, srt_grp = 0, usr_flg = 0,

Can you give me a link or clue to that download? Can’t find it under C’s. Thanks.
