Help for [Mission 03 error] Freelancer Original Story

I saw that, now it would have to be, What is the Mods title.
Then we can see what the problem is.Also, it is important whether you are using Mod Manager, and what version. Most people, such as myself us 1.4 beta. If you are not using Mod Manager and have inserted the files, that may be the problem. If that is true, install the manager. Then, go to the FreeLancer directory and delete it. Don’t bother to uninstall it. Your save are kept elsewhere, so they are safe. Re-install FL and open Mod Manager. You will need to add your mod, but once done start it and try again.
Keep one thing in mind, if you are new to Mod Manager. The saves will be made to a separate folder (named for the mod) so you can play different mods without confusion.

After modifying the save game to work with vanilla/JFLP (replacing ship and loadout), it worked fine for me. I thought it might be a version conflict (internal mission numbers changed) but no, it worked with both versions of content.dll. I don’t know what else to suggest (other than the usual fresh install).

[Trigger] nickname = tr_0100_juni system = Li01 Cnd_True = no_params Act_ActTrig = com_0100_juni Act_EtherComm = Juni, 216301, Player, DX_M03_0100_JUNI, -1, pl_female4_head, li_hatcher_body ```That's where she says "… sorry I couldn't meet you as planned ...". It's triggered when the launch is complete ([c]lcp_to_ca[/c]), which is activated when you talk to the bartender ([c]chs_bart_bar[/c]). The mission briefing is activated at the talk, as well, so if you're seeing that (triggered on entering space), I don't know why you're not getting the message. There are two previous launch triggers, so it shouldn't be that, unless it's ship-related, if you've changed ship between Missions 2 & 3 (I used an Eagle). FWIW, I've attached my save, just before the launch.

Thank you for the info. I used your save file and even you change your ship the trigger still does not work. I checked the M03.ini file and they are all linked/connected to each other.
sigh… I think I will let it go and move on. It really doesn’t work. Thank you guys for the help. adoxa, Pascal05 and khayman

I see… that is why it is called “limit breaking” because it breaks some other triggers, values or parameters that will change how the game works.
My guess is if you used the “manually launch from docking bay (part 1) & (part 2)” for common.dll and server.dll, it might be the reason why Juni unable to contact you because when you go out in space, the game will initiate to let you manually undock from the docking bay and it will be confused because the original game never did that before.
So revert all changed values to its original values using any programs for editing hex values.
Let me know if this helped you.

That’s great. I am glad I was able to help you and you are welcome.
So next time if your game is behaving differently or breaks again, just don’t forget to go back to limit breaking 101 to check what are the changes that you made before because you said that you used “some” other values that still might affect the game’s gameplay.
So that’s it… Problem solved!!!
