[Space Sim News]Everspace Alpha released!

If you have not heard about Everspace yet: it is a space (arcade) sim that plays very much like Freelancer. Check out the Alpha launch trailer:

It is still very much bare-bones and does not have a lot of content, but as a Freelancer fan it is surely worth to check out or keep in mind:

I think it looks stunning in a graphical sense and the control scheme, flight characteristics, physics have me excited to have a blast, but procedurally generated roguelike is the bit that has me less interested than I otherwise would be and I’m not convinced either lend themselves to a captivating story as they put it.
Still, one thing that never changes, I look forward to shooting the crap out of things in space!
