Frontierspace mod

With a whole lot of nostalgia, I came back to play Freelancer again. Played through the campaign rather quickly then wanted to play my old favorite mod; Frontierspace. PLEASE help. For whatever reason I can’t get it to work. I’m talking about non-campaign single player. I’ve tried both 1.74 and 1.75. I’ve tried using FMM (2.0) as well as opening the zip and just dropping the appropriate content into the game folder. I’ve tried with and without Jason’s patch. Nothing. The game won’t even hiccup. No attempt to load. Nothing. If I uninstall the mod the base Freelancer starts right up.
This is driving me batty, because Freelancer Frontierspace used to be my favorite pastime, back in the day. Would appreciate any insight, because I’m drawing blanks. -
It supplies an original exe (with a modified version resource) which no longer works. Restore your own exe and all should be good. You could replace the exe within the mod itself: open its [c]exe[/c] directory and replace the exe with the one from [c]no-cd exe 175 - german[/c].
