64 may be an issue since some dependencies require using 32 using 64 you’d run into other issues eventually.

use what you like … we recommend 32 and discourage 64

The Team we are putting together to Code FLAC will First look at the feature requests on Eagles Site in the private section.

those will be proritized and then we will move forward.

Those that have access there … now know the program is avail at no cost and what they need to do to keep it running on their servers.

Well, I would say this is welcome news, good to hear!

First things First …i will admit that tearing Down Flac was a major pain in the ass …. Eagle built in so many checks to secure it and verify users to keep the system from being abused… the program always had to resolve to eagles personal server which at one point had gone offline for good… we thought this was the end of FLAC.

But you guys know us …if nothing else you can say we are stubborn mule headed %^&(**^&(^ you get the idea. We were saved at last when we brought dmz on to the coding team and he got the program working again without registration or the key gen … making this program avail to all that need it now and into the future… the requirement to sign up at eagles site and request access is still our policy … but the software will be provided to all that need it at no cost.

We know that Freelancer is more or less dead but hell …we still operate D3 servers and have been around over 17 years now so dont worry we will always be around to support server admins.

we are still working on new features but for this new release here is what we did…

New in this release:

NEW Ver# 2.9.9.10

DMZ has done major upgrades! FLAC now works with all versions of Windows and both 32 and 64 bit OS’s. He has removed the registration requirement so the KeyGen is no longer required. FLAC is now run directly from the file folder rather than being installed as a program. new features are still being worked on and FLAC is Def Alive and well.

Hooray and power to you. Always loved FLAC, used it for years, only reason i stopped was because it wouldn’t work on 64bit systems. Seems that’s changed. Well done Soupman and your crew
