Is it me or is this forum very slow atm. , takes a while building up a new side …

I have the same problems

As with most forums, this one is on a shared resource so the speed depends on the overall network traffic to the box (as well as the internet in general)

We will however, try and keep the forum running as smoothly as possible and do regular table maintainance to try and keep waiting times to a minimum

It can also be related to the geographical location of the site, which is in Texas. Normally, the further you are from the servers, the longer the connection (Even though it often is unnoticeable).

for me it’s pretty fast…well of chourse sometimes i have 2 wait for server response, but that is not so frequently for me

I also have not experienced too many issues with the site and find it generally fast. It seems this problem is really completely random (For example, I’m fine here but had problems on another site where each page would take 5-10 seconds to load).

I will however look into what could be causing this issue code-wise.

Right now for me its pretty quick to load pages but the 5 other times ive been on here today its been painfully slow. Could just be my provider though.

Is this forum still living or have all the sheep gone to TLR again for a week or two until it’s down again?

We are still here, but I think with TLR back, most people have abandoned us.

I haven’t abandoned you guys, busy with 88 flak alot and another game called Secret of Solstice (RPG)
I still try to check back here and at TLR every so often to see what’s new on the sites

neither i have abandoned u…just dont have a WORKING cpu at moment
