Each UTF editor has its upside, you may wish to toss in all 3 versions (1, 3, 4), but for sure 3 & 4.

Theoretically shouldn’t Version 1>2>3>4 why are they all different and have different advantages?

They weren’t built/updated by one person alone, so some stuff got fixed and others were broken

UTF version
4: + ability to drag-copy leafs and nodes.

• multiple documents open at once; tiled, etc.
• can play sound files.
• can print view
• internal help interface
• context help
• Export VMeshData, VMeshRef, VWireData as text, or any leaf as raw.
• Document history for quick re-opening of recent files.

• some times string or other data gets corrupted, mucho annoying and not sure anyone’s narrowed down the source of the prob.
• only able to edit Fix names, but not data. Rev and Pris do not save at all.

3: + can edit Fix, Rev, Pris names and data.

• export VMeshData, VMeshRef, VWireData as text, or any leaf as raw data.
• working file listed at top of interface
• can play sound files.

• single document open.
• no drag-copy functionality.
• child name limit of 31 chars, parent name char limit of 15. Going over this results in corrupted data.

1: + um no real problems, its features are all most modders will require, unless they get into advanced shtuff.

• import / export leaf data as raw.

   - no Fix, Rev, Pris data editing at all
