Missile Turrets on Bases, Stations & Platforms

Hey Guys,
I’ve been combing through the archive for this one but I think may have missed the answer…
Do I remember reading somewhere (a long time ago) that this just won’t work?Obviously my loadouts etc are all fine, the Solar in question just will not fire any missiles. I’ve tried both turrets that require ammo and turrets that don’t.
Has anyone ever had any success with this, if so I’d be ever so grateful if you could help!

We successfully have missiles firing from our station turrets on MU. I didnt code it myself so not sure how it was achieved but i will speak to the admin that did and get him to post for you

I’m assuming, if you make the turrets for the bases “laser projectile like”, ie - without ammo, you could achieve the same effect - FWs 1.65 had a missile gun that had unlimited ammo. Or, maybe it’s possible for you to put the ammo in the solar\loadouts.ini
Either may work.

If you replace your missile turrets with ‘normal’ turrets / guns
- do those fire?
Is auto-turret set?

From what i was told we just made them not need ammo and gave them a fairly high refire rate.

Yeah that’s pretty much what I’ve got now… everythings looking sweet… now for the Mission Solars… (I’ve found the article on those in the archive so hopefully can take it from here).
