Reputation List

I don’t think there is a limit, rather certain restrictions on vanilla factions, all of which can be changed though through limit breaking. Having said that, I could be wrong. How many factions do you have in total?

If i counted correctly, 76

AFAIK, there is no such limit, but having never got close to that total number, someone else is better of answering that That’s a wicked amount

Here is a picture of my mapping character (for Ioncross fullmap). It is showing 61 of our 73 npcs. It should show up to 69 of them once the server is live and players are tagged with reps. We have several bases with special npc reps to allow or prevent docking, they don’t have npcs in space so will never show up on the list.
Theoretically this list should show up to the 100 valid entries if you followed an old tutorial by me on the FLC site and entered them correctly.

Yeah, so Tunical, I would check the entry for that faction in all the necessary files. If there was indeed a limit, I’m not sure it would omit that one, and it would more than likely do an existing one, or do some other wierd behaviour like changing which one disappears at every restart. I was going to suggest re-ordering your factions to see if you could forceable make one disappear, and that way you would know it’s simply the way that FL is parsing the file (from top to bottom) and then we’d know. But as DwnUndr seems to have a ton of factions too, that doesn’t seem to be an issue. What I would do though personally, is add some factions you don’t necessarily need on that list to the common.dll (it’s in ‘exception’-type area - see limit-breaking). That way, they can be kept as hidden/reserved if players don’t ‘need’ to see them
