On the hunt for Icon pics… Found a few sites but the usage rights are
extremely “vauge” to say the least… FL modding is neither commercial or desktop use lol…I don’t have anyone working for me on X… just testers… so things like this have to be done any
way i can… i DO NOT have the skill or time to make new icon pix so this is frustrating the hell outa me lol…Does anyone know of a site were its all just “yay use it”… or have any prior dealings concerning the use of
Public domain/freeware Icons? any advice would be awsome ;D -
What kind of pics are u searchin?
I mostly use a simple trick i use only parts of protected pictures which can not be recognised.
For example for our lightsaber comodity i’ve used the PS6 cut out function to cut the lightsaber out of a wallpaper.
In this way u can do very good shop buttons in a short time.
Its also easy to do with gimp, if u want i can post a video tut about how to….Edit: Found a video tut for shipbuttons i made a while ago, its also a good way to get buttons just look if u can find a free 3d model from the thing u need and use it to make a picture.

looking for pics for commoditys mainly… and upgrades like armor/deflectors ect to set them apart from
the other addons… and spice up the licenses / ID tags… & new weps.All good with PS7… got my Icon backgrounds ready… in a 256x256 template that’s easy reduced to 64x64 when pic is
pasted over the top & merged… all that part is dandy hehe… my problem is i’ve found heaps of great icon pix… just not shure on the “legality” of using em ;D
no-one ever thinks of us modders when writing a legal readme… lol… its all profit based stuff… and im pretty shure none of us have ever actualy made a profit from a FL mod… well i haven’t anyways lol… most of the time it costs us all dearly in both time & powerbills to mod any game… & there’s no “clause” for modders anywere hehe…Thanks anyhoo m8… ;D

For example we custimized every shield, gun, turret etc button for 1.8 and not only new we have different gun and turret icon for every ship class.
All of these pictures are 100% made by members of our community as all of these turret and gun icon are screenshots from models made by other members of our team.
