Other thing since it is much handwork to write tables in HTML: Any reason why I won’t be able to create tables in Open office calc (excel) and export them as HTML file, then use search & replace after I copied the table code into Notepad and then it would (nearly) work in websites? Would spare me much work and nerves…(I just tend to forget very often to close a tr or td tag…:( )

Office applications aren’t made to write HTML?

If you want to do that, I’d suggest trying a WYSIWYG HTML editor like Dreamweaver. They don’t produce the best code, but it’s less of a mess than most office apps.

Just as my personal opinion, I dislike the hover thing in the wikipedia. Any chance that you remove the hover-thing and make it permanent?

And again that bug when edited post disappears.

I’ve observed similar behaviour several times. I did the following.

1. Replied to a topic
2. A minute, perhaps less (this might be the key - I’m thinking throttling behaviour), I edit my post. When I hit submit my original post disappears.

Preservation of indentation in```
tags doesn’t work anymore. This seems to be a recent bug - worked fine a few weeks ago.

The PM function is very shitty. It seems that you can’t send the pm once you vist a other site (even in a other tab)…

had it at least twice…today…and yesterday or so. But I also have taken A LOT of time to write the pm and maybe even idled at the window for some hours >_> ^^

Idling is more like it. There are session timeouts all over the place which could cause that.

concerning the forum search, here is a search link for “sur file”:

notice how the sortby var gets screwed up, its working with this link:

I first had a heck of a time getting new password, but that was nothing to my friend, not being able to get past the code generator, its only 4 digits and easy to read but wouldn’t accept any codes we put in.

Submitting Posts seems to take forever, yet the submission has already occured

This happened a few times in a row to me, so I suppose we can call it an issue:

After I submit a message, the screen remains as if it is waiting to connect to the server, but when I open up The Starport in a new tab, the message appears to already have been submitted. (This caused me to double post a few times.)

This issue seems to exist after there was some downtime of the site some weeks ago.

EDIT I also made a specific post about this issue, before I noticed this Bug Thread — and that post has been submitted 5 times, which illustrates the issue. Am I the only one experiencing this??

There was a problem with the server and it should be better now.

Can you confirm?
