Can’t view the posting here, made by cannon:

(Cannon’s Plugin Download topic)The history/changes pages in wiki could also need some reworking - bad font and background colors.

Well I got an Problem on the Front Page:
Whenever a Video from Freeworlds get’s played, I get an Error of 150. I’m using Google Chrome out of Germany, and it seems Like those videos are blocked in Germany, because I can’t view them on Youtube eigther.
So is this a Youtube Problem or an Problem of your Player, I really want to get rid of that freaking error!Edit: Also happened in Firefox right now.
-
Well, I guess disabling the auto-play functionality would be better anyways, since I dont think its good to autoplay videos on any website. It could be a standard embedded Youtube video, which would solve the error message popping up (I get the error as well).
-
There. I’ve long given up hope of people actually taking advantage of the video feature, so I might as well give in and make it not play anymore.
I hope you are satisfied, even though I wonder what the point of it is now.
-
Well… I thought it was a good idea FF and had no probs with it… tes the Autoplay was/is a slight problem… but the vid feature is groovy please don’t take it down.
-
Right. Tell me: how many people do you seriously believe will actually click on “Play” when there’s no video rolling?
-
Well maybe you could just disable the error message popup, it has to be somewhere in the js code, I like the autoplaying, and we from FFS will soon publish our video here(when the new mod is ready)
It was just something I noticed a few times, if you can’t sole it, no problem, if you can, it would be nice. Thanks for your work here FF

-
I’ve also removed the error popup; instead the error code will replace the video controls should one pop up. Much less intrusive and I’m surprised I didn’t do it already to be honest
@w0dk4: Well then, what do you propose? You can’t make a video play while not taking any bandwidth and not making the video play defeats the purpose of having that on the front page in the first place…
-
Well that’s as good as it’ll get. I’ve made some smaller buttons to leave more space for an autoplay feature. You can then select whether you want to have the videos play automatically or not.
By default, they play.
