I am Zeus, the creator of Olympus - Home of the Gods.
I want to thank you for taking an interest in what I have created and I hope you will join our community.
Olympus - Home of the Gods has been reborn and is now hosting Gibbon’s Genesis 1.1 MP Mod.
The server is located Deep in the heart of Texas and has been rebuilt from the ground up with vast improvements.
I host my own servers and do not have to worry about monthly or yearly fees to third party companies. Olympus - Home of the Gods is setup on a dedicated Windows 2003 32-bit Enterprise Edition server running on an AMD Phenom X4 with 8GB of RAM and 2TB of SATA2 HD space. She has an automated LTO-2 tape backup system and a dedicated UPS to maintain power to allow for graceful shutdowns in case of power failure (I even have an in-game notification program to warn when this happens so players can log out and save their games).
Gibbon has created a super stable mod and running on my server, we have not seen any problems at all.
My ISP bandwidth allows me to have players from all over the world and not experience any lag, even when players of different pings are grouped together in PVP or battles against the NPC’s.
The server is also hosting my 100-slot Teamspeak 3 server (I have the NPL for TS so I could make several more TS Virtual servers, up to 10 of them with a total of 512 slots if we would ever see the need… lol)

I have been trying to play this mod on these servers but I think with the name Home of the Gods its gone to their heads.
Don’t get me wrong, Nightstalker has made a great mod, the only problem is the Olympus community admins and staff are rude and unhelpful.
Don’t expect any help if you can’t log on and you might even get banned for asking be warned.
I only wish a decent team could host this mod its such a waste seeing only 1 or 2 players online all the time because of unhelpful, rude admins.

Please do not bring your problems here. If you have a problem with someone from another site, that’s where it needs to stay.
My purpose for coming here to to find something positive, not something brought over from somewhere else.
This forum is for Server Advertising, not complaining. No-one can do anything about it here nor help you with it. I’ve been to the forums and read the reasons and I’m sure as for how long the Admins there have been Admins, they have screen shots of it all. I feel that your responses have caused you much grief so, let it be and try to learn from it.

I do not reply to most posts i prefer to stay in the background most of the time
I have played at Olympus on 3 seperate times and i found that if you give respect like any other mod you get respect back.
Most Admins want players to search out there own trade routes, get a ship that suits the player ,and join in the community, Olympus is a Roleplay server like most other servers out there.
No server will give out info on best trade routes or ships or weapons and most Admins or Server police have there own ships which they use to RP in.

Here’s one set of simple rules that’s posted in game on my server for all to read: Play Right, No Pawning Newbies. No PvP within 12k of Manhattan. Don’t Piss-Off The Admins, and you’re good to go.
If you’re looking for help, the best place to get it is to ask for it by posting on the forums. That’s what they’re there for. Be part of the Community and maybe you won’t have this kind of problem to deal with.

You know when you don’t explain why your friend can’t connect to the server we can’t exactly fix that. So, why didn’t your friend post, its his problem who better to explain it then the person having the issue?? Also, in the past a lot of people from Australia either have high ping or can’t connect to both servers. If the problem is he cannot connect to the forums as well, the problem is his and resides on his PC. The only other reason I can think of is he did something on the server to upset FLAC and it banned him.
