Now, I’m having some trouble figuring out a name / class / purpose for these 3 ships (with similar design) so I was wondering if you guys could help out with this problem

I’m working now on the uv-unwrapping so I might also have a texture for it in the next couple of days, that way should be easier for you guys to use it, if you have any such plans
