Languages

Given the amount of foreign players we have around, I think there’s Russian, and perhaps Japanese/Chinese.

I’m pretty sure there’s a Chinese version (JONG had some screens in Chinese I believe), there is a French version. Don’t know about Japanese or Russian.

Well Disco had a few players tagged with (RUS)… Which is (partially) why they made the rule against tags that state nationality, to stop players binding together and being unable to communicate with everyone else. I guess there must be a Russian version…

New Disc ( Новый Диск ) released official russian version in 2006 (pretty good PR it was btw…). There’re some fan-text-translations also.

Why Russian version???
Use English version.
I don’t like games translated into Russian, I have only original English versions installed.

Everyone has their preferences man … but I also always use only english

Yes, Freelancer Chinese lang pack by jeff chen, done in 2003. http://jeff.ali213.net/effect.htm

Most chinese mods base on that. few bug, but works very good.
