So, we just had our first DOS attack…

It was actually a very good stress test for the server hardware and configuration.
The server was able to handle 50+ pageviews per second with acceptable delay (a few seconds).
It took quite a while to figure out how to get the most out of the server, but eventually I think thats an impressive number, handling 3000+ hits per minute.

no, it was a DOS attack, because the attack was not distributed, but rather coming from one or two ips
