I can recall though… when i was chosing the reskins for the vanilla ships i had about 3-4 to chose from per faction… so i know there’s a few out there but i got most of it from mods like “trent the monkey king” ect… and credited the same person they did

or… and this ones more fun… extract the .mat & make ye own nothing like being able to point and say… “see that cool thing… I did that”

you’ll need UTF Editor. the version is nearly pointless for that purpose.
just look up in the texture library node, there are all of the textures used and partially even unused. depending on if the subnodes are called “MIP[digit]” or “MIPS” it is to export either as a *.tga (in first caes) or as *.dds. look around for tools to edit those or plugins for known image editors. some support the formats even without any plugins.

There was a auto extractor released a few months back… & a new UTF editor as well… look for them as well … the Autoextractor works a treat!!

As for manipulating your textures… I’d say… go grab Gimp or Paint.Net as both support .dds & .tga… you want to use .dds though as its way more mipmap friendly & you dont need to flip a .dds for it to work propper

If you grab Gimp… look for a file in the extension packs for .dds & there’s a “community” pack that has almost every plugin for the app in 1 download… Paint.Net has .dds support straight out of the box… but sucks when it comes to setting up guide grids (as ive found recently with modding another game) … Photoshop is good… but AFIK it screws up .dds … well alpha channels anyways… could just be my archaic PS7 though… it is getting a bit old these days
