@W0dk4: lulz. OP rants. Love the fact that the “TSP modder” that attacked his model was actually an Empire at War modder for Thrawn’s Revenge that was on the FW:ToW team to exchange models between mod teams… lol. But anyways…

Lets get things straight, since I registered only for this purpose. I think that if you aren’t mentally damaged or something like that, you would have understood that my post over at the TLR Portal was a joke, nothing less and nothing more. Why should you blame OP when you don’t have even the relevant proof to actually blame him? Such hypocrisy is really annoying, especially when I see someone that I respect being under the hammer of a group of over-grown kids that love to fight over the internet using a keyboard and some facts that they didn’t even have proof for.

Why all the hate? What has OP done? Are you sure that you are not a bunch of kids that are envious of him? If you want to get rid of him, why do you go on besetting him?

Now after seeing this, seeing that you couldn’t interpret a joke in the right way really cleared up my mind on The Starport, no doubt they DDoS you everyday. Some elements in here are attacking OP only by some prejudices that they had with the previous TLR admins.

Feel free to ban me or lock this account up, I rarely visit this website, and I only registered since I didn’t want that OP got all the flame because of me. I made that post, I should be flamed. Grow up and grow some serious attributes between your legs.

As for you Kazinsal, you should tape your mouth and avoid talking only by basing your post from the above ones.

Indeed its always the same - about the same crap. The issue - if it ever was one - could have been resolved by PMs between both admins. But i know that communication on this level is nearly impossible - mainly because of the differences of the past. Or some might think they are too fine for it. I don’t know.

If some of you are up to quarrel with OP - why not making a suggestion how to solve it?
Sadly for me - i am in between all this crap. On one side i often come here to read news about modding projects and eventually to learn something. On the other side i am also a long term member of SWAT. You often speak bad about SWAT mainly because just you have some differences with the admin there, that i feel bad just because i am there. And in the same way i feel bad to be here just because there are differences between SWAT and TSP.

I never had an insight in the TLR things but i can imagine its about the same crap. I really hope there will once the day where the crap can be buried and both admin teams can make a step towards each other and not in the opposite direction. That could work if not everyone is pointing fingers at everybody, revealing long history events - that really a few have witnessed (me excluded).

As for the bans: You can ban anyone without even notifying, without reason. Its the admins decision, its their home. They may throw out who they deem to see fits. You could simply remove OP from here. I doubt that he has broken a rule - that would justify a ban. But if your life is better then - just make this little check in the profile and be happy from that time on. Its not transparent then to the users and there will be some who understands it - and some who might be frightened. But why care about it anymore. Then somehow i assume you can ban me too - because i seldom contribute here as well (like the majority is not doing so). And for a few occasions try to be on OPs side - at least in regards to calm down the heat between both sides.

Finally i knew that it would end this way - and all of the events so far couldn’t help to improve the things. Really sad that mature men are not capable of resolving little issues like that.

Seriously it would be a good idea to start somewhere. Not always diverging. You say that OP burned the bridges. At least i have seen an apology in his former posts and showed to unban the accounts. Name it what you want - but imo a trigger to move closer to each other.

Burned bridges can be built up again - but that needs time and effort from both sides. I am glad that with the continuing natural selection - we Germans can get rid of our former bad history. In regards that nowadays youth has no debt at all. But thats something different.

I can really good remember a situation here (two or three years ago) where we had a similar situation about a “joke” that was made. It did end nearly in the same situation. But nothing has been learned meanwhile - with or without purpose. What about some ways to finally talk with each other, making compromises, admit failures no matter from which sides, weight arguments - and try to find solutions, or comprises - more or less to cooperate? The aim should be to serve the community - thats your task, thats the task of every admin, leader, whatever.

I just fear that the majority of us normal users say - oh no not again. There are always at least two involved in quarrels. So its not always only OPs fault - also “yours”.

I would wish there could be peace between both or three communities - for the good of all. Because we all belong to the Freelancer community and in my eyes everyone is equal to each other.

That’s rather rude of you to say. I’ve been around a few times (longer than my join date here would suggest) and there’s a /reason/ I don’t have a Lancer’s Reactor account, but I have one here and I post on it regularly.

You’re looking at this from your perspective and posting about it freely. I’ll look at it from mine and post freely about it on the internet if I damn well please.

Well if its about the archive - an suggestion that could be thought of is to outsource it to someone else - make a council whatever you want to name it - that will host this side. Where both can link to. But that would mean both sides need to give in at one point or another - and there i would admit. That wont happen anytime soon - sadly.

Although Op has caused a lot of drama here at TSP, I don’t think you should ban him over just that. Because that would be falling to his standards.

I think what everyone needs to do is step back, take a look at the situation and realise it’s a lot worse than it has to be.

If both communities just let it be and stopped being inflammatory towards each other, everything would be fine and dandy, and people that participate in both communities wouldn’t have a reason to laugh / be annoyed with you all.

Anyone can lay blame on someone else, but the mature ones take any sort of baseless accusation and roll with it. None of these accusations will change anything.

I’d be posting this on TLR too, but offending threads have been locked. Something that probably should have happened here days ago.

The fourth LR admin which received the same treatment from you, congratz. You’ve been acting worse than he ever did. Calling others “fanatics” is just a very good example.
