How i can creat a server

it works with regular freelancer. you have no need to mod the dacomsrv.ini in .\exe\ directory, though this way the hook console starts automatically with flserver.exe. ofc your exe directory needs to contain all of the flhook files (and plugins, if you use plugins in the correct folder). otherwise, you can open a flserver but neither the server nor the client can trigger a hook command.

use your already installed freelancer. double click on fl.server found here:
C drive: programfiles\microsoftgames\freelancer\exe
this will start a server (without flhook).if you want to use flhook you need to download the 1.1 patch and a version of flhook which can be found in the server downloads section of this forum.
FLHook needs the 1.1 patch to be installed for it to work.FLHook comes with instructions for installation and use.

mohanedhasan I think you will have a serious language problem so do not use FL Hook.
Because it needs good knowledge to use it and modify it.

It’s just that we assume too much sometimes, or are too eager to give a solution - sometimes the user is not able to use our solutions and it’s difficult to spot that.
A clear step-by-step guide is always useful, and I think one is needed for FL Hook.
Does one exist at all?
This is why I write “walls of text” from time to time.

I’d argue that FLHook definitely is NOT for beginners. Messing with plugins, DLL compatibilities, INI settings and all that requires at least moderate knowledge of FL.
Knowledge of English or German also is almost a necessity.

The language you speak is probably Inglish, but with less spelling mistakes and more grammer mistakes. -

Never understood exactly how FLHook works. I tried to do some stuff and experiments but the only resault was that I screwed the game so much I had to completely delete it and install again.
BTW, why German? The Greman version FLHook is written in German? Or its just for commands?

the second largest part of our community is the one with German as native or main language. many people from early stages of flhook are Germans, at least a third of the best modders around us are Germans. it is the second language you can ask for support with, after you tried English or if you can’t English.

reminds me on the Station Network community’s freelancer section. was the most active modding related section there although the information in the tutorials was pretty outdated and short but cool gentlemen with good connections to the starport and stuff. strange that not all of them are here now or that there is not a second community to the German modder with that large amount of information and support with experienced modders. kinda modding school. an idea that has to be kept in mind. to recruit newcomers quickly and successfully. lots more fun than playing the game^^
