    for long it has been impossible, but if we look through recent programmings, about everything wasn’t possible a year ago - more then four ship classes 0, 1, 2, 3 (Light Fighter, Heavy Fighter, Freighter, Very Heavy Fighter). whenever some modders input capital ships they either defined them as Freighters or shortened the fighter class amount to reserve one ressource for capital ships. now, is it possible to overwrite these four values by a program library, that would come together with an ini where you can define as many ship classes as you’d like to defining both the value you gonna enter to the shiparch and on the other side either the matching ressource itself or at least the ids number of the ressource?
    this way we would not be limited to four but could define even different capital classes like gunships, destroyers and battleships and even more individual specifications. useful to mods based on most scifi, vanilla mods and any sort of extensions, actually to any mod that does not limit the player to fly a single-pilot ship.

        Yeah adoxa did that one awhile ago, i’ve used it before and it works a charm, note that if you want to add extra classes over/as well the ones adoxa’s put their just open the .dll up with reshacker and away you go!
