Stafe Engine Flame

Sometime ago there was a thread about having engine that only burn while strafing left right up or down.
I now need that for some realistic BS I’m working on.
I can’t remember if it was here on TSP or on the old TLR forums but I’m sure someone had a way to do it or was working on a way to realize it.

If anyone has an idea please contact me I’m thankfull for every help.
