So, the q might be if we should continue recording the basic stuff in our wiki or if we link to that site, eh?

first off, I don’t like Wikia. Read their terms of service. They have a nice little clause about ownership.
Second, that wiki isnt really kept up to date, and with the coming addition of new staff, ours will shortly be up to snuff
thirdly, its best to keep as much as possible in one location for neatness’s sake. I don’t like keeping databases of information intact solely at the whim of a third party.

My main concern really is just that we don’t control the wiki and we don’t know who does. Collaborating is fine, but just tagging along is riskier. We can’t know whether it’ll be updated, whether it’s even actively maintained anymore, etc.

I am member of the wikia freelancer wiki. it is though based mainly on the vanilla game and on its contents, not on the modding point of view. some members think it should even stay like this, not informing players about mods too much but about only the original game. its activity is slow by now and it doesn’t have too many pages. still, they won’t mind us linking to them as they do link at least to our main page, somewhere, too (if recall right).
