I have a problem with planet maine

ok as the title reads i have a problem with planet maine. i have been working on a personal freelancer mod i had hard drive crash and had to start all over again. ok long story short every time i try to make planet maine a dockable base eighter for the bounty hunters or the lsf it becomes benford station. i must of tried 3 to 4 times it still comes out benford station and not maine. it says the planet maine allied with bounty hunters but when i land on it i see benford station. is there anyway to fix that ?

Yeah…sounds familiar. I’ve had same problem since I tried to modify Alaska. Basically, I just simply added a new planet and a dock ring for that but when I play the game the base appears as Prison Mitchell. Doesn’t matter what faction or which base template the new base belongs to, when I open the system ini again the base refers to li05_01.
It usually happens when I want to modify an original system.
So I also need some help to fix that bug.~D

well it is supposed to be planet maine in manhatten made the docking ring yesterday. when you dock on the planet it says benford station. freelancer explorer is using that name instead of maine. if you want i can make a movie so we can see it.http://www.xfire.com/video/4ba635/

voice = atc_leg_f01Li01_16_base… there is no Li01_15_base within the Li01 system, so if Explorer was retarded, it may have just called it that (I honestly don’t know).
However, from memory, Li01_15_base is in the game… it’s a mission base.But I’ve no clue what FLExplorer does, so may be barking up the wrong tree entirely - mainly as I don’t have anything “vanilla” installed/decrypted to check out, and I can’t be arsed to get the sdk or bini to take a peek. I’ve got no clue what FLExplorer does when creating a base solely from that - what entries etc. Maybe a universe.ini entry issue.

All I can think is you have a reference to LI01_05_base (Benford) in there somewhere. As Chips says you need to post your code for the base, the sections in universe.ini and li01.ini

even if i change the code which i did right before my hard drive failed it will be the same plus led to other problems . i am trying to make this as error free as possible there are error checkers that work with windows 7. freelancer error checker does not pick on errors sometimes.

nooo, that’s an example of what we’re wanting to see. What code have you put inside your Li01.ini, your universe.ini, mbases.ini etc.
p.s. I hate the bloody annoying “wait for 30 seconds before you can edit your post due to a spelling error you wish to correct”.

no worrys everything is ok the peoblem still shows up . so i am just going to leave it, any way mod update i put the firebase ships in the mod now and they look great. the mod is not going to be used for server play only open single player. so any error that does not make me crash is ok.
