Q: Showing Ships in animation sequence

I’m just throwing out a guess here, but sounds like either a .thn or a .ale file reference.

i Can give 2 examples of what i’m refering
1: ship showing up in the beginning when juni gives you your ship.
2:landing on pittsburg kings ship goes back to the patriot
but player ship shows the new ship

Speaking of below does any body have or know a tool to open or edit .thn or .ale files
i found this and it say fled horn but if there are any other thoughts or newer tools i welcome comment

.thn files are simply LUA files and there is plenty of programs out there that can open them. For the .ale files there is my program (Ale editor) and Adoxa’s tool (forgot the name).

Maybe this adoxa’s tool can extract this files?

thn’s are encrypted though, but FLed Thorn can decrypt them, and apparently, if it does mistake, the FLDev can correct any error. that thn SDK is right what you need, though, again, there may be some corruptions here and ther, like a missing closing bracket or so. for tutorials on editing and creating thn’s, go for a search at our TLR archive over at lancersreactor.com

Regarding the THN files, FLThorn to decrypt them, Notepad to view them, FLScan to fix them if they need fixing which very few of them ever do but it does happen. Been using those tools for a while and never had an issue. Not tried the newer ones to edit them
