my name is Emmanuel, I’m a college student and just like anyone else here, a huge Freelancer fan.
What I can do:
I have some years of experience with 3D modelers and animation programs, and I always dreamt of doing a mod.
But I thought the technology of the Freelancer engine was outdated until I saw the world of Tides of War.
My dream:
Seeing what has been done, I want to know more about the hacks and coding hoping that we could add subsurface scattering to the line-up or port the gameplay to a new SDK.
Again, those are my dreams.One more thing: I’m fluent in German and English.

Thanks for the info and the warm welcome. Honestly, the huge amounts of information on how to mod were my reason why I joined this community. Props to all of you.
In the next 2 weeks I’ll have finals. After that, I’ll have 6 weeks that I can devote to exploring the world of Freelancer mods.
Btw. While I have my own ideas, I would much rather join an already existing mod and help speed up its release because there are a lot of great ideas out there. At the same time I would gain some experience.
