Strange Bugs

I’m not sure what happened to cause it, but whenever I go into Turret View the screen blacks out.
The HUD and lights from lightarch don’t vanish, but models and ale effects do. If the system has a space_color defined in the system ini, that doesn’t vanish either. I thought it might be something in the DLL or EXE folders, but I’ve ruled that out after replacing them with clean ones from the TCM Starter Pack.
I’m also getting FLSpew spam from dynamic asteroid fields.

It happens with every asteroid field whenever a player enters a system with them, even though the asteroids are showing textures as normal. I read that someone found a fix for this a few years ago but they never said what they did to stop the FLspew spam.Does anyone know what causes these?

Just a guess, could it be the starsphere? I’m guessing it’s a custom one you built (looks v. nice btw). Have you tried replacing that with a vanilla one and seeing if you still get the same problem?

Thanks for your help! I tried changing the starsphere and replacing the cockpit.ini, although it didn’t work. Then I remembered Cameras.ini and replacing it with a clean copy fixed the turret view.
I’m still confused about the dynamic asteroids. They -do- have a texture defined but FLSpew keeps spamming a “no material found for asteroids in field” error.
