Help me with FLHook please.

Hi there. Anyway I’m trying to run my own server, and I want admin right, but FLHook just isn’t working at all.

I type in setadmin Inutaisho superadmin and it says ERR exception occurred. I don’t know what else to try and I’m becoming very frustrated. Please help.

i’m using version 1.6.0 of FLHook if that matters.

Try in console instead of name to write your id number (get it in game with /id).
setadmin$ id superadmin

Odd, it appears that /id will crash my server.

would running a mod, however, cause problems?

By your wording your trying to set yourself as an admin, from in-game right? If that’s so then here’s the easy (and afaik only) way to do it: start the game join server etc. Then alt-tab out (or play windowed) then in the FLHook console type the setadmin…. command. FLHook won’t let anyone with out admin permissions access admin commands and may return that error
