Singleplayer under Win 7 64bit

Hello,
I can install Freelancer under Windows 7 64bit, watch the intro movie, play around in the menus just fine, but when I go to “new game” the game always crashes.
I already installed patch 1.1 plus Adoxa’s JFLP patch from here: http://the-starport.net/freelancer/forum/viewtopic.php?topic_id=4756I also tried to run the game under XP Service Pack 2 and 3 campatability mode and in administrative mode. It doesn’t help. There are no mods installed.
Processor is an AMD Athlon II X2 260 Processor 3.2 GB,
graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GT 240.I only want to replay the singleplayer campaign again, so no multiplayer stuff or so.

Hm ever since im using win7x64 everything FL related still just works fine. Even unpatched & without any compatibility mode.
U can try to wipe ur restart.fl file @:
C:\Users[YOURUSERNAME]\Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayerAnother idea is to try out this.
