The connection to the server has been lost.

Hello. I have a problem when playing Freelancer on multiplayer servers.
Whenever I am in space, I cannot dock into a station, planet or a trade lane.
My messages aren’t also displayed in the chat screen.
Soon after the following message pictured below is displayed, and I am taken back to the server selection screen.
This problem occurs in every server that I have tried.
My OS is Windows Vista, which I hear is very problematic with Freelancer multiplayer.
I can play Freelancer online without problems on my older computer, but I would much rather try to make it work on my newer one.
I have tried reinstallation, rebooting, disabling my firewall, and ticking off IVP6 from the controlpanel, but nothing seems to work.
